Add Pathfinder calendars

Subscribe to the program calendars your family follows. Subscription feeds are auto-updating; downloaded .ics files are one-time snapshots.

Google Calendar refreshes subscribed feeds on Google's schedule, so new Pathfinder changes may take several hours to appear there.

Subscribe to auto-updating calendar feeds

Select the program calendars you want, copy each subscription URL, and add each URL to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or another calendar app. Most calendar apps subscribe to one .ics feed URL at a time, so repeat the steps once per program calendar.

Subscribe, do not import. Subscribing keeps events updating. Downloading an .ics file is only a one-time snapshot.

View-only calendar feeds

These subscriptions let families view Pathfinder events in their own calendar apps. Calendar apps cannot send changes back to Pathfinder; new events and schedule updates should be made by authorized leaders in the Pathfinder website.

A co-ed high-adventure program for teens and young adults who want bigger expeditions, stronger youth leadership, and real ownership of the crew calendar.

RangersAuto-updating feed

An elite outdoor skills program for older youth seeking serious wilderness training, survival skills, and expedition-level adventures.

CSSCAuto-updating feed

A structured, safety-first program teaching marksmanship fundamentals with .22 rifle, shotgun, and archery under certified NRA and USA Archery instructors.

V2K SquadronAuto-updating feed

An aviation and STEM-focused program introducing youth to flight principles, aerospace careers, and hands-on projects in partnership with local aviation resources.

Add the URLs to your calendar app

Switch between desktop and mobile steps. Add one Pathfinder calendar URL at a time.

Google Calendar

On desktop, open Google Calendar.
Click the plus icon next to Other calendars.
Choose From URL.
Paste one Pathfinder calendar subscription URL.
Leave Make the calendar publicly accessible unchecked.
Click Add calendar.
To rename it, back out of settings, find the new calendar under Other calendars, click the three dots, choose Settings, and edit the calendar name.
Repeat for each additional Pathfinder program calendar.

Refresh timing is controlled by Google, so updates may take several hours to appear.

Apple Calendar

Open Apple Calendar on a Mac.
Choose File > New Calendar Subscription.
Paste one Pathfinder calendar subscription URL.
Choose iCloud if you want it across Apple devices.
Set auto-refresh if Apple Calendar offers that option.
Repeat for each additional Pathfinder program calendar.

Choose iCloud during setup if you want the calendar to appear across your Apple devices.

Outlook

Open Outlook Calendar.
Choose Add calendar.
Choose Subscribe from web or From internet.
Paste one Pathfinder calendar subscription URL.
Name the calendar.
Repeat for each additional Pathfinder program calendar.

The wording varies by Outlook version, but look for Subscribe from web or From internet.

Advanced: one-time import

These downloads are snapshots. They can be useful for importing a fixed copy, but they will not keep updating. Subscribing with the URLs above is recommended for normal family use.
